Service estimates & enquiries

The Services price calculator runs in your browser. It does not upload your manuscript, take payment or submit an enquiry to IPC. Quote and partnership forms prepare an email draft, or let you copy a brief. You choose whether to send it through your email provider.

When you send an enquiry, IPC receives the information you include, such as contact details, country, document description, word count, dataset scope, respondent numbers, study location, region, a selected similarity or AI-writing report band, and deadline. IPC uses this information to respond, agree the work and manage delivery. Avoid including identifiable research-participant information in an initial enquiry; agree a suitable file-sharing route before supplying confidential material.

Quotes, payment & delivery

Research development and data analysis starting fees generally use KES. Language editing and originality-revision rates use USD, with KES equivalents. Revision estimates use submitted word count, a 1,000-word minimum and the relevant supplied report band; the report and passages are reviewed before agreeing the payable fee. Data collection estimates combine setup and a method rate per planned completed response; recruitment, travel, accommodation and other location costs require a separate scope and quote. Currency equivalents use the dated CBK reference shown on the Services page and are estimates. The written quote confirms the documents and sections covered, final fee and currency, applicable charges, delivery date, revision support and cancellation or refund terms before payment.

All published service prices are “As from” starting fees. IPC confirms the final amount after agreeing the scope. Proofreading, academic editing and manuscript editing orders of at least 20,000 words qualify for the published 10% volume discount, subject to an agreed scope and delivery schedule. This discount does not automatically apply to originality revision, research development, analysis or data collection fees. Custom projects and documents beyond the listed scope limits require an individual quote.

Invoice payments

The website includes an invoice payment flow. Online collection is awaiting activation of IPC’s merchant account. Once activated, IPC issues a private invoice link only after agreeing the quote with you. The invoice fixes the payable amount and currency; the website checks payment details with Flutterwave before issuing a verified status.

IPC stores the invoice document, customer name and receipt email, agreed scope, expiry, transaction reference and verified payment receipt in its hosted invoice storage. This information supports payment reconciliation and delivery. Anyone holding the private link can view its service, scope, amount and payment status; keep the link private. The public invoice view does not reveal the customer email.

When you continue to checkout, IPC sends the invoice amount, currency, customer name, receipt email and payment reference to Flutterwave. Payment details are entered on Flutterwave’s hosted page under its own privacy notice. IPC’s website does not collect your card number, security code or M-Pesa PIN. A temporary browser-session value helps reopen your invoice after checkout; the server stores the authoritative invoice and receipt.

Payment-provider and card issuer charges or currency conversion can differ from the website’s reference. Confirm any charges in the quote and checkout before approving payment. Contact IPC about an unexpected debit, refund or cancellation before making another payment. A verified payment records receipt of the agreed fee; delivery follows the terms in your quote. Test-mode confirmations are clearly labelled and do not establish a live payment.

Research materials & authorship

IPC uses materials shared for an agreed service to perform that work and resolve delivery questions. Please discuss access, retention, deletion and permitted use of external tools before sending sensitive material. Contact IPC to request correction or deletion of information you have provided, subject to records that must be retained for the agreed service or applicable requirements.

Authors review edits, confirm evidence and approve their final submission. Editing does not guarantee journal acceptance, a particular academic grade a similarity score or an AI-writing score. External subscriptions and database access remain subject to the relevant institution’s terms.

Other website products

Chapisho, Stawisha, Mhakiki and iNews have their own setup requirements and workflows. Using a connected product can involve hosted storage or a processing provider. Review the product information and agree permitted processing before uploading sensitive data. Local file-saving options depend on your browser and permissions.

Website delivery, links & embedded content

Website and infrastructure providers process connection information needed to serve pages and protect their services. External links take you to independently operated websites with their own policies. Opening embedded YouTube content can connect your browser to YouTube’s service.

Advertising & cookies

IPC has not activated Google AdSense or Google Ads tracking on this website. The Services calculator does not set advertising cookies. If advertising is introduced, this notice will be updated with vendors, data uses and privacy controls before ads are served.

Google advertising may use cookies and other identifiers, including information about prior visits. Personalised ads for visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland require an appropriate consent setup, including a Google-certified consent management platform. Visitors can manage Google ad preferences through My Ad Center.
